Dr. Rosana Mejía-León graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Pediatrics. Dr. Mejía-León has over 18 years of experience working in various pediatric settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient acute hospital care, and critical care management. In addition, she has been providing direct care to chronically-ill pediatric patients and children with special needs for over 16 years. She also has STAT and ADOS-2 clinical training for Autism diagnosis from Vanderbilt Kennedy Center's Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) Program at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. As a mother of 4, she knows the importance of doctor/patient/parent relationships built on trust with effective communication, education, and team working. Her main goal is to promote high-quality preventive health services and create a true medical home for pediatric patients and families. This is why she fell in love with the Pravan Kid's philosophy, which promotes quality and holistic, integrated care for children and adolescents by focusing on all aspects of health, mind, and body. These values carry on to her daily life, where she enjoys music, painting, nature photography, and spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Vivian Acebal earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston College before pursuing her medical degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at the University Pediatric Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Throughout her career, Dr. Acebal has worked in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units as well as private pediatric practice, dedicating herself to providing compassionate and expert care. In May 2018, Dr. Vivian Acebal relocated to Florida and joined the APC Pediatrics private practice team, where she specialized in managing patients with chronic conditions and those diagnosed with ADHD. After six successful years in Florida, Dr. Acebal has returned to Puerto Rico to join the Pravan Health Group, bringing her extensive experience and dedication back to her home community. Dr. Acebal believes that pediatricians should serve as essential allies alongside parents in ensuring the health, well-being, and development of children. She emphasizes the importance of building a trusting relationship to foster effective communication and a deep understanding of each child's unique needs. In her spare time, Dr. Vivian Acebal enjoys quality moments with her husband, their three children, and their dog. She has a passion for traveling, hiking, and kayaking, embracing adventures that allow her to connect with nature and create lasting memories with her family.

Dr. Rodríguez is board certified in emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine with a focused practice designation in advanced emergency medicine ultrasonography. He earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the UPR Hospital in Carolina, where he served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, followed by an advanced EM ultrasound fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital Center, both in Brooklyn, NY. Through these fellowships, he obtained expertise in the management of acute pediatric presentations and the incorporation of point-of-care ultrasonography to manage and diagnose a wide variety of pathologies seen in the ER. He has served for the past two years as the board director of the American College of Emergency Physicians at the P.R. chapter. He also served as EM Chapter President and EM Senator for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Puerto Rico. He currently works as the Pediatric EM Director and attending emergency physician at St. Luke's Medical Center/Ponce Health Sciences University Emergency Medicine residency program in Ponce, PR. Dr. Rodriguez is also an avid speaker, having performed multiple lectures on Emergency Medicine, Pediatric EM, and EM Ultrasound topics in several states and PR.

Dr. Brighid Natasha Drain is a seasoned family medicine physician with 15 years of diverse experience across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. She earned her medical degree in Canada and completed her residency in family medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. After residency, Dr. Drain returned to Canada to practice in emergency departments and family medicine clinics, focusing on providing patient-centered solutions for timely care delivery. In Puerto Rico, Dr. Drain has expanded her expertise by working alongside her husband, Francisco, in his cardiology clinic, engaging in research initiatives, and conducting disability assessments for Veterans. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Drain enjoys reading and long-distance running. She cherishes time with Francisco and their three children, embracing a lifestyle that balances professional dedication with personal fulfillment.

Dr. Agrait is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the UPR Hospital in Carolina where he served as Chief Resident and was inducted in to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He worked at Sibley Memorial Hospital, a Johns Hopkins Hospital in Washington DC where he was awarded a Clinical Innovation Prize after starting the first non-opiate acute pain management protocol in the Johns Hopkins Hospital system. He then completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Georgetown University, where he obtained expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and procedural guidance while working with collegiate, high school and professional athletes as well as "weekend warriors" of all ages. He has served for the past 3 years as the Puerto Rico chapter's Councilor to the American College of Emergency Physicians and is a member of the chapter's board of directors. Additionally, he is currently the Emergency Medicine Section Vice President for the Colegio de Médicos de Puerto Rico. He has lectured extensively on topics related to emergency medicine and sports medicine in numerous national and international medical conferences. He currently works as an attending emergency physician at Bayamón Medical Center emergency department.

Ms. Figueroa has a bachelors in science and a concentration in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), Rio Piedras campus, and a Dietetic Internship from UPR's Medical Sciences campus, where she was recognized for their clinical excellency. She's licensed in Nutrition & Dietetics and a Registered Dietitian since 2014. Leyda is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and its Dietetic Practice Group: Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine. Her passion to promote health and wellness inspired her to combine her vast experience in esthetics and massage therapy with nutrition, as she believes that the foundation of a healthy life is good nutrition, rest and exercise. Ms. Figueroa has worked in various areas of nutrition and esthetics, within the hospitality industry and health providers, both in Puerto Rico and in the United States. She enjoys connecting with nature, where she finds balance and energy.

Noraliz has over 8 years of experience as an emergency room nurse assisting with trauma and critical care patients. Fiarah completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration focused in Marketing with a certification in Italian at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez. During her bachelor's degree, she did an exchange for a semester to Florida International University where she participated in various sales competitions, leading her to pursue a career in professional sales and all topics that entail customer relationship management. She is currently a J.D. candidate for the January 2022 term at the Inter American University School of Law. Fiarah values spending time with family and friends. Concerts are her favorite social activity and she also hopes to be able to travel abroad again soon, as she enjoys gastronomy and new experiences.
