At Pravan Kids, we make your child’s immunization process seamless and stress-free. In partnership with a local immunization clinic, we provide efficient scheduling and tracking of your child’s vaccinations based on established guidelines or a personalized schedule created by your Pravan Kids pediatrician.

Here’s how it works:

  • Tracking and Scheduling: Our nurses keep track of your child’s immunization schedule and handle the appointment coordination for you.
  • On-Site Vaccinations: Vaccines are administered at the Pravan Kids clinic by our trusted immunization partners, offering a concierge-level experience with no waiting times.

Coverage and Payment Details:

  • Coordination and Booking: Fully included in your child’s membership.
  • Vaccine Costs: The cost of the vaccines is the responsibility of the parent.
    • If your child has local health insurance, you can use it to cover the vaccine costs (only the deductible will apply).
    • For those without local health insurance, payment can be made out of pocket. Details for payment methods will be shared via our mobile app upon appointment confirmation. Parents can also submit for reimbursement through their health insurance.

Immunization Documentation Services

  • PVAC-3 Documentation: Our team can prepare the PVAC-3 document required by Puerto Rico’s Health Department for school enrollment and other activities.
  • Transcribing Out-of-State Records: If your child has been vaccinated outside Puerto Rico and is not registered in the local health department’s system, we can transcribe out-of-state vaccine records, provided the vaccines are up-to-date.
  • Certification and Processing: PVAC-3 document processing includes certification by a pediatrician and access to Puerto Rico’s Health Department platform for immunization registration. This service has an additional fee to cover the specialized requirements.
